Utah under the dead of night
I spent the last week out on the road checking out Utah and Arizona. Zion has always been my favorite of our National Parks; Small, beautiful and uncrowded relatively.
This trip though, I spent some hours of solitude away from a group I was guiding. I hung out on the crossroads in Utah hearing the silence and watching the lonely cars wiz by into the dark.
I loved the peace out there, seeing the moon stare down onto the pavement. The road seems to own the area once again when the sun goes down.

Awesome - what part of AZ did you visit? I was in Flagstaff this weekend and was very pleased to witness the first snow of the season!
